Following its successful launch in Germany and France in 2020, Vivid, the platform that combines banking and investment services in a single app, chose Canela to announce its arrival in Spain in January 2021.
Canela organised a virtual press breakfast for journalists. In addition to a breakfast box, participants were sent a card with a QR code so they could access, exclusively, a 3D demo of Vivid Money’s credit card as well as press information.
Canela also managed pre-launch briefings with 3 key media in Spain: a national media, La Vanguardia, a tech media, Xataka, and a business media, Expansión. We offered to each one of them exclusive and tailor-made information about the company, as well as the possibility to meet with the founders prior to the official launch.
Following the press breakfast a press release was distributed to key Spanish media and interviews were managed with business and tech titles such as Business Insider and Hypertextual.
Thanks to this launch strategy, more than 60 pieces of coverage were secured in less than a week and Vivid Money now regularly appears in comparative articles as one of the neobanks to take into account for the management of daily finances.
