Sony celebrated its 75th anniversary with exclusive discounts and promotions, as well as various surprises for its users, journalists, influencers and ambassadors.

Canela designed for the occasion a 75th anniversary logo, various digital creativities, as well as an exclusive slogan, to convey the journey of the Japanese brand to the present day: Sony, 75 years of technology and emotion. This logo and slogan was used throughout the whole media campaign, in social media, as well as in promotional activities with various Sony distributors, such as Amazon, Corte Inglés, Media Markt or Worten.

A press release was prepared on the milestones of the company, as well as a historical and photographic tour of its most iconic products. 3 exclusive interviews were also organized with Alberto Ayala, CEO of Sony Iberia, in the selected media Business Insider, La Vanguardia and Xataka.

More than 60 impacts in social media and Spanish media outlets, reaching more than 5M people

In addition, an exclusive gift was sent to more than 50 journalists, influencers and brand ambassadors in Spain. They received a chocolate from the well-known confectioner Escribà, personalized with an edible printed QR code. Through this QR they could view a 3D animation of 75th anniversary’s logo, as well as a video summarising the brand’s journey, its milestones and values.

With this campaign, more than 60 impacts and posts were achieved in Spanish media and their social media channels, reaching an audience of more than 5M people.
