January’s uphill climb dominated by health and economic recovery

The growing number of cases of COVID-19 during the Christmas holidays, the return from the holidays and the crisis in Ukraine have been the main topics in the media throughout the month of January. Despite the negative tone of most of the news, the recovery from a less lethal strain of the virus and the country’s economic improvement and a historically low unemployment, means it hasn’t been all bad news at the start of the year.
