This 2022, we have finally become a B Corp company!
Canela is an agency where values are at the heart of our activity: people first. Many of the B Corp requirements have been in our DNA since our very beginning, such as financial transparency, collaboration with NGOs, evaluation of team and client satisfaction and a selection of projects with values in line with our corporate culture.
This certification is a recognition of all the effort we put into being a socially responsible agency: we have developed numerous welfare initiatives for our employees, such as continuous training programmes, an ambitious telework management and a transparency policy open to workers. In addition, with the aim of building a more inclusive and sustainable economy, we have initiatives such as Canela Cares, a series of regular donations to non-profit organisations to meet the needs of disadvantaged groups, and the Canela Forest, in which trees are being planted on an ongoing basis to help reforest the Catalan territory.
To celebrate our B Corp certification, we have expanded our forest by planting a tree for each client, organisation or media partner we work with. Thanks to the planting of 62 new trees in the Canela forest, we helped to offset 1,680 kg of CO2 emissions, thus reinforcing our commitment to carrying out an environmentally friendly business activity.
