Brands choose, creators pitch… will you take the challenge?

June is heating up… and so is the digital world 🔥

📲 This month’s #DigitalTrends are packed with everything you need to know to kick off the summer.

WhatsApp is rolling out ads in the “Updates” tab, featuring promoted statuses, channels and subscriptions. The ads are personalised based on basic data and activity, without sharing your phone number.

Instagram has added a teleprompter feature in its Edits app, letting you display your script on-screen while recording. Perfect for delivering content like a pro, no memorisation needed.

TikTok has introduced new AI tools in Symphony that generate video ads from text, images and even digital avatars, including fictional people. The AI-generated content is clearly labelled and reviewed for safety.

YouTube is rolling out OpenCall, a new feature that lets brands post briefs and receive pitches from creators. Brands pick their favourites for paid campaigns. Currently available to select advertisers.

Starting July 10, 2025, content from public and professional Instagram accounts may appear in search engines like Google and Bing. Don’t want to be indexed? You’ll be able to turn it off in your settings.

Meta is testing a standalone inbox in Threads, allowing users to chat without switching to Instagram. It’s currently being trialled in countries like Thailand and Argentina, with a global rollout planned if all goes well.

You can now create custom covers for your Spotify playlists using text, colours, stickers or your own photos. The feature is available in the mobile app for all users, free and premium.

Instagram is working on features that will let users reorder photos on their profiles and post content without displaying it in the feed. More creative freedom, coming soon! No official release date yet.

TikTok is adding new tools to personalise your “For You” feed. Users will be able to adjust the frequency of certain topics and block keywords using AI. The platform is also improving filter management and launching a new guide to help users take better control of their content.
