Canela repeats as finalist for Agency of the Year in Iberia at the SABRE Awards

Canela, the Iberian communications agency with offices in Barcelona, Lisbon, and Madrid, has been nominated for the second consecutive year as the Best Consultancy of the Year 2024 in Iberia by the SABRE Awards. The winner of this award, presented annually by PRovoke Media, will be announced during the awards ceremony on April 17 in London.

Of the five agencies nominated for Consultancy of the Year in Iberia—Atrevia, Canela, Evercom, LLYC, and Torres y Carrera—Canela is the only one operating exclusively in Spain and Portugal. These recognitions represent an impartial evaluation of outstanding companies in the sector, covering geographic categories and specific disciplines. From multinational firms to local professionals, all are considered and assessed in the 20 categories of Consultancy of the Year.

“This nomination reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence in communication and the positive impact we generate in the Iberian market,” explains Deborah Gray, founder and CEO of Canela. “We are grateful for the trust of our clients and the daily efforts of our talented team, which have allowed us to stand out among the best agencies in the region,” she adds.

The nominated consultancies are the result of a thorough research process that included more than 200 entries and meetings with the best public relations firms in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This year, the EMEA SABRE Awards celebrate their 20th edition.

In addition to this nomination, Canela is also a finalist alongside Rover.com in the Consumer Products category for the campaign “No Without My Dog” and in the Professional Service Firms category for the initiative “Stop Working For Change,” which highlights the role of women in the workplace.
