Canela, the Iberian communications agency with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon, has closed the first quarter of the year by adding three new clients—PICVISA, ChargeGuru, and Bioinicia Cosmetics—who have entrusted the agency to develop their communication strategies in Spain. These new additions bring Canela closer to its goal of closing 2024 with 50% of its clients focused on impact.
PICVISA, a company offering innovative technological solutions for recycling based on robotics, intelligence, and artificial vision, has chosen Canela to develop its digital communication strategy and social media action plan in Spain. The goal of this collaboration is to broaden PICVISA’s reach and visibility, position its spokespersons as experts in technology solutions for promoting recycling and the circular economy, and help the organization take an active role in the regenerative economy market. This partnership coincides with PICVISA obtaining its B Corp certification, a title Canela has held since 2022.
In addition to Spain, Canela will handle communications for ChargeGuru, a European company specializing in electric vehicle charging, in Portugal. This electric car charging organization focuses on the fast pace of the energy transition and preparing buildings for the future. Its main goal is to provide an electric charging solution that overcomes the obstacles present in shared garages, whether in condominiums or businesses.
Finally, Bioinicia, a leading Spanish company derived from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and a pioneer in biotechnological development, has chosen Canela to promote the launch of its new beauty brand, Bioinicia Cosmetics. This new brand of pure cosmetics eliminates the use of unnecessary raw materials that do not benefit the skin, marking a paradigm shift in sustainable consumption and production within the cosmetics industry. Through its communication strategy and PR action plan, Canela will help introduce the brand to Spanish journalists, build long-term relationships with media outlets, and create impactful content to engage end consumers.
“We are thrilled to welcome PICVISA, ChargeGuru, and Bioinicia Cosmetics, not just as new clients but as partners who share our values and goals. At Canela, we firmly believe in the power of communication to drive positive change, and we are delighted to collaborate with these innovative companies to amplify their impact and contribute to building a more sustainable and prosperous future,” says Deborah Gray, founder and CEO of Canela.
