So that’s 2018 all but over. What a year it’s been for Canela PR: new clients that have made us the fifth fastest growing agency in the world according to The Holmes Report; several campaigns of great impact in the media; the incorporation of colleagues in all our offices; and the recognition as one of the 5 best agencies to work in the SABRE Awards. We’ve got lots to celebrate over the holidays!
Not one, or two, or even three… ¡14 new clients!
During 2018 as many as 14 new clients have decided to trust their communications campaigns to us. And there’s something for everyone in the mix: from Spanish startups such as Cooltra (rental of electric motorcycles) to European companies such as Evaneos (online travel agency), Empathybroker (search and web browsing), Skycop (online claims to airlines), Storytel (audio-books) or Tadoº (intelligent thermostats), in addition to brands as well-known as Sony (consumer electronics).
And why do all these brands choose us? Because we know how to organize creative, different and effective public relations campaigns. For example, the showcooking we set up with journalists and Influencers in October in Madrid to bake Wonderbox’s 10th anniversary cake; the collection of signatures on the Change.org platform for free tap water in bars and restaurants promoted for TAPP Water; or the helicopter ride through Barcelona to which we invited journalists to try Sony‘s noise-canceling headphones.
Everyone wants to come to the best agency to work
The number of workers has increased by 30% during the year. We have welcomed with open arms Raquel Santín in the Barcelona office, María Simal in Madrid and Frederico Raposo in Lisbon, among others. We love to continue increasing our team precisely in the year that Canela PR has been chosen as one of the 5 best agencies to work in the SABRE Awards 2018. It is a recognition that makes us very excited because it confirms the philosophy of our agency: if we all work at ease and in good company, things work better and clients notice it.
This year we finished moving all our offices to coworking spaces.
As we also know a lot about organizing memorable events, in November it was a pleasure to host the Global Training Summit of Brands2Life, the network of communication agencies that Canela PR is part of, and we took advantage of to teach Barcelona to our international colleagues.
